I
like to keep my Sunday's somewhat spiritual (not necessarily
religious)... At the risk of breaking my own rule I will comment on yesterday, once again! First, I thank those who have been
following my work all these years... I am forever shocked at the
tapestry of different kinds of people, from all walks of life who
entrust me with the most intimate details of their lives... Everybody
from celebrities to little old ladies on social security... From cops
and military, to hippies and organic farmers... From professors and
school teachers to home school enthusiasts... People in mansions, to
people in the tiny house movement! You get the point!
Anyhow, as many of you know I have been predicting race riots in this country since about 1978.. I always maintained that they would happen in my lifetime, although selfishly I wish they would have waited! Yesterday in Virginia, was not the beginning of the race riots, but it did mark the point of no return... I am utterly appalled at how EVERYONE is spinning this whole thing according to their personal agendas... The fact is that as detestable as the White Supremacists and Neo-Nazi's are, they had a RIGHT to protest... My sources tell me that things were pretty uneventful until the anti-bunch started to chime in... Neither side gets a thumbs up from me because they are each shrouded in hatred...
Actually, this is NOT Trump's fault, nor is it Obama's fault... It is the fault of us all, who are part of the collective consciousness that subjugates ourselves at the feet of greed, apathy and oblivion!
An innocent woman, only 32 was killed in Charlottesville... I don't care why she was there or who she supported, she was a human being! Then, there were the two troopers who were killed apparently en route to the demonstration... Would you believe I actually saw people on Fakebook cheering because of what happened to the troopers??? Many commenters called the troopers 'racist' and 'White Supremacists' for no substantial reason other than the colour of their skin, and their uniforms.... THAT is racism too.... Nothing more, nothing less... Maybe the participants should thank the officers who helped keep their asses a bit safer, no matter what race the officers are...
Time to get out the Windex and clean those mirrors... Then, to take a long look at ourselves... Beauty fades, love is eternal~
